What should I bring to the first visit?
Bring lab results from the last three to six months, a list of your medication and supplements and any referral note from your doctor. Comfortable clothes make the body composition measurement easier.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
Not for most areas. For kidney disease and bariatric surgery follow-up, however, we work with a referral and the limits set by your doctor or surgical team.
Do you interpret my lab results?
We do not diagnose or interpret results in place of your doctor. In the consultation we discuss the nutrition-related aspects of your results and build the plan accordingly. Diagnosis and treatment belong to your doctor.
Can I have blood tests at the centre?
No blood is drawn at our centre. Have the tests your doctor requests at your usual laboratory and bring the results to the visit.
Can I enter my own value in the lab test guide?
No. The guide gives general information only; no values are entered, nothing is calculated or interpreted and no data is sent to the server.
Are fees covered by insurance?
Dietitian visits are outside most private health insurance; some complementary policies pay partially. An invoice is issued after the visit; we suggest checking with your insurer.
How do I cancel?
Let us know by phone or WhatsApp at least 24 hours before. For cancellations within 24 hours the visit can be rescheduled once at no charge.
Which platform is used for online visits?
Visits use an end-to-end encrypted video link sent by email or SMS before the appointment. Visits are not recorded.
How is body composition measured online?
It cannot be measured with the analyser online. We explain how to measure your waist and weight at home; when you can visit in person, we measure with the analyser.
How long before surgery should I start?
It depends on your surgical team; usually 2–4 weeks before surgery. If your date is not set, we plan it together in the pre-call.
How long will I take supplements?
After bariatric surgery vitamin and mineral supplements usually continue for life. Type and dose are set by your surgical team and doctor; we help follow them with yearly tests.
Can I eat fruit with diabetes?
For most people, yes; amount, timing and what you eat it with matter. Whole fruit is preferred to juice. We set your personal amount in the plan.
