A lab result is a starting point. We build the plan not around that number but around the day that carries it: your breakfast time, your commute, your dinner table.

Before founding Denge in 2019, Aslı Demirtaş worked for ten years as a dietitian in the endocrinology clinic of a private hospital. Most of her consultations are with people living with type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, insulin resistance and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

In her carbohydrate counting groups she focuses on turning measurements into the real plate at home: how many grams a ladle of bulgur pilaf is, how pide and lavash differ, how meals are split during Ramadan.

For thyroid conditions, especially Hashimoto's thyroiditis, she writes plain, evidence-based advice against the flood of misinformation, and always handles medication and supplement decisions together with the physician.
